Way-finding Design
logo design, typography, information design, 3D rendering
For this project, I chose a state park in Minnesota to design a logotype for. The state park I chose was Judge C. R. Magney State Park, which is the home of the Devil’s Kettle. My logo is inspired by the two waterfalls at the site of the Devil’s Kettle, and the depth of the kettle itself. After designing the logotype, I went on to design a series of way-finding signs based off of the shape of the logo. I chose a bright color scheme to contrast from typical way-finding signs you see in state parks.
