Designer Code of Ethics

As a designer, it is important to have ethics and values that you look to when considering a prospective gig, project, or position. That is the reason I created Instagram posts and an Instagram story post for my individual Code of Ethics. I identify as a secular humanist, so my ethics are heavily based around that aspect of my identity. However, I also care very much about the environment so I wanted to incorporate some sort of natural element into my design as well. This intersection of my values resulted in imagery of a skull and sunflowers on a green background, signifying my humanist identity and appreciation of the natural world and cycles of life.
